Satay Craving

We caught up with Peach who was to be here for a few weeks for work but not really knowing Singapore, we thought to play the good hosts and take her to a hawker centre. The one at Telok Ayer Market or as best known as Lau Pa Sat is set in a historical open-air building and offers an array of local food specialties but what we went there for was to eat SATAY. Peach fancied some and through a quick search on Google found this blog about the best satay in Singapore…it sounded good enough to go try it out.

With an extra portion of popiah and carrot cake, the options were by the number of sticks you thought you could eat. Chicken, lamb, beef, pork or prawn. We ordered wisely 15 sticks of the chicken and 15 of the lamb. Then in they came served with dense rice cakes, raw onions, cucumber and peanut dips. Wow, we did manage to devour them all, and yes, they tasted succulent and great!
